Breezy Point is a one level, 4 BR, 2 bath home with attached screen porch that sits on a point with almost 500 ft of shoreline. The views are awesome overlooking Chief Lake and a few islands. Nature is all around you whether it is an eagle, osprey, blue heron or the many loons. Most of the lake is in its natural state since over 90% of the shoreline is undeveloped with hundreds of islands. It has a huge grass yard for the kids and dog with flat elevation to the lake. You have many sitting areas along the lake with outdoor furniture and picnic table. There is a great swim area with hard sand bottom with adjacent dock and another dock for your boat with boat lift with power. Kids can catch fish from the dock; this lake is one of the best fisheries in the Hayward area and a Class A musky lake. In fact, Chief Lake is the former home of a world record musky. Enjoy the fire pit at water’s edge that is perfect for star gazing. It is stunning as you have no conflicting man made light at night. A small aluminum fishing boat (no motor) and 2 canoes are provided. The home has an attached screen porch and a large desk overlooking the water with free Wi-Fi. You have floor to ceiling windows in the family room and kitchen to enjoy the views.

  * Two king bedrooms, one queen bedroom, 2 full baths and a large “Bunkhouse Bedroom” with 4 twin beds and a sink. The Bunkhouse has lots of room for an inflatable mattress or two. It sleeps 10 but we allow up to 12 guests.

  * Full kitchen with appliances and tableware, dishwasher, dining table, microwave

• ENTERTAINMENT

  * One TV with satellite, DVD, VCR, free Wi-Fi, piano, wood fireplace

  * Great shoreline and water for swimming, 2 private docks, one adjacent to swim area, one with adjacent boat lift with cover and power, huge grass yard for games, fire pit at waters edge which is a great place for star-gazing, gas grill, attached screen porch, no firewood is provided

• BOATING

  * You are on one of Hayward’s most sought after lakes that offer full recreational boating with marinas and restaurants on the lake. You have 2 private docks, a small aluminum fishing boat is provided (no motor/25 hp is max for this boat) and there are 2 canoes (a one person and a 2 person)

• View/Shoreline

  * Big Views of Chief Lake, great shoreline for kid-friendly swimming

• Communications

  * No land line but you have free Wi-Fi internet

• OTHER AMENITIES

  * This is dog friendly but no cats are allowed as owners have cat allergies. There is a Welcome Book inside the cabin with local restaurants and menus.

• ACTIVITIES

  * You are located on the SW side of the lake so it is a convenient location if you are coming from the Twin Cities or from the south.
