This cabin is located on Moore's Bay overlooking islands on the 17,000 acre Chippewa Flowage, one of nature's finest Wilderness Lakes. This lake has over 200 miles of shoreline and over 140 islands plus 95% of the shoreline is undeveloped since much of it adjoins the Chequamegon National Forest. It is a fantastic fishery with muskie, walleye, northern, perch, pan fish and bass. It has at least 6 nesting pairs of Bald Eagles!

This cabin is easy on the budget but high on the natural beauty of the lake and wildlife. It has level elevation to the lake and boat dock so you can easily set out to explore and fish this wonderful lake. It has a nice gas fireplace to warm up on those cool nights and has central A/C to cool off on those hot summer days. This 2 BR, 1 BA cabin can accomodate up to 8 guests with the 2 sofa/sleepers in the family room. It has a small 3 season room, washer/dryer and power at the dock. Enjoy the flat screen TV with satellite TV in the family room. You can boat to restaurants on the lake or you can drive to many great local restaurants near-by. Welcome to the cabin we have named, "Island View on the Big Chip"!

  * The Chippewa Flowage is Wisconsin's 3rd largest lake at 15,300 acres. It is the state's largest Wilderness Lake, only 10% of the shoreline is developed. "The Chip" is unmatched for its natural beauty, islands, wildlife, and fishing. It is a world class Muskie Fishery but yields large quantities of bass, pike, crappie and sunfish. You do not have to travel far to fish, Moore's Bay adjoins this property and is an outstanding fishing spot, check out the Crappie fishing in the fall. Enjoy the solitude of this cabin and lake but yet enjoy all that Hayward has to offer, just 20 minutes away.
