You have sand all along your shore and the water depth is perfect for children with a very gradual drop in water depth. There is a large dock for your use, Adirondack chairs and a firepit in the sand. Sand Lake is a 900 acre, full recreational lake allowing all water sports, a public boat launch is very close by to launch your boat. The fishing is very good with panfish, bass, walleye and muskie. The lake is only minutes away from the Town of Stone Lake that has a grocery store, ball fields, skateboard park and many shops/restaurants. You can bike into town or visit Hayward which is only 15 minutes away. This lake home has just become available in July, 2010 and is managed by Northwoods Compass, a local property management company specializing in the complete care of vacation rentals so you will have access to local service. There is a complete Welcome Book in the lake home which provides you with local restaurants and lake home details so you feel right at home.
